Cook time: 10 mins | Prep time: 10 mins | Serves: 5

Ingredients.

  • 5 figs

  • 1 tablespoon of blue Castello

  • 5 slices of prosciutto (not too thin)

  • Garlic Caviar or Garlic honey - Black garlic starter kit 3 in 1 from Kristy @greekprovidore

Method.

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C fan forced (350°F). Cut the stalk off the figs with a paring knife and make a cross at the top of the fig. Cut 1/3 of the way so the opening on top is wide enough.

2. Add 1/2 teaspoon of cheese. Then with one end of the prosciutto (the end that is still intact) put it in the palm of your hand. Sit the fig on top cup your palm around the fig then grab the other end of the prosciutto to wrap it around the fig.

3. Sit them on a lined baking tray and bake for 10 minutes. Serve straight away.

Cooking notes: The prosciutto usually separates at one end of the slice so wrap each piece around the fig in opposite directions.
